선교사의 기도

주님 당신께서는 모든 이에게 특별히 가난한 사람에게 복음을 선포하시며 갈릴레아 지방을 두루 돌아다니셨습니다.

당신의 말씀과 행동 그리고 저희에게 보여주신 당신의 가르침과 일치된 삶의 모습은 언제나 우리에게 새로운 희망과 생명을 주십니다.

 

오늘도 이 세상에서 현존하시는 당신을 알아보게 하소서.

저희 눈을 열어주십시오. 당신께서 말씀하시고자 하는 바를 사람들과 사건들 안에서 깨닫게 하소서.

나와 내 주변의 사람들 안에서 활동하시는 성령의 힘을 굳게 믿을 수 있도록 도와주소서.

 

저에게 관대함을 주시어 당신의 사랑과 평화와 정의의 도구가 되게 하소서.

저에게 빛을 밝혀 주시어 저 또한 당신의 제자가 되어 이 분리된 세상에 당신의 사랑과 희망의 소식을 전하게 하소서.

 

A Missionary`s Prayer

 

Lord, you walked the roads of Galilee announcing your Good. News to all, expecially to the poor. Your words and actions, your living of what you preached bring new hope and life.

 

Help me to recognize your presence in our world today. Open my eyes so that I may see the people and events through whom you speak. Help me to believe more in the power of your Spirit working in me and in those around me.

 

Give me the generosity to be and instrument of your love, your peace and your justice.

Give me the light to discover how I too may be a disciple bringing a message of hope and love to a divided world.
